Initial installation for any vehicle
Faults
Our tachograph calibration is carried out at low speed producing excellent results in a safe and quiet environment. The rollers drive a set distance at approximately 5 km/h as opposed to the 50 km/h common with high speed free running roller testing.
This reduces the chance of lost pulses which could lead to incorrectly calibrating the vehicle to a setting which would make the speed limiter engage too early.
Low speed means no need for disabling ABS/EBS as required with high speed rollers.
